Lead Residential HVAC Technician
About The Position
R & T Yoder Electric, Plumbing, & HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced Lead Residential HVAC Technician. This role is for a skilled Residential HVAC Technician who is looking for an established and respected company to grow their career with. The company offers a competitive wage of up to $45/hour, depending on experience, a $3000 sign-on bonus, and generous benefits. Requirements
- 4+ years of HVAC field experience
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
- Understanding refrigeration cycles
- Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
- Service-oriented
- Ability to establish a good rapport with people
- Respectful of others and their personal property
- Punctual and reliable
- Takes pride in their work
Responsibilities
- Removing old HVAC systems
- Installing new HVAC systems
- Performing routine maintenance
- Training junior team members
- Communicating with clients and customers
- Ordering and maintaining equipment
- Running pipe and duct systems through homes
