About The Position
We are looking for a Lead Rental Party Host to join our team at the Y! We spend our days positively impacting the community around us. We help members reach their potential, enact goals, and we change lives in our Y community.
Requirements
- 16+ years of age
- Comfortable engaging with children and parents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Responsibilities
- Engage with children and parents while maintaining a safe environment
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly disposition
- Greeting guests, collecting waivers, setting up and cleaning up party room, as well as maintaining a safe environment
- Responsible for maintaining control of the rental/party at all times
- Set up includes tables, chairs, and decorating with decorations brought in by guests
