Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a compliance-related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a regulated industry or one year experience with a regulatory compliance company.
  • Established proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), MS Dynamics, or similar software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, and demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
  • Highly collaborative, communicative, and approachable.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and manage time efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • ShipCompliant software suite and Photoshop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of the Regulatory Compliance Specialist in addition to the below.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and resource for other compliance team members, and guide team members as needed to ensure compliance inquiries are handled timely and appropriately.
  • Identify and implement process improvements efforts in all areas of purview.
  • Assist Compliance Director with training, support, and leadership of Compliance staff to ensure achievement of departmental targets, including brand registrations, price posting, license renewals, etc.
  • Help drive a positive teamwork environment conducive to high productivity, employee engagement, and motivation.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Director and/or Manager on projects as assigned.
  • Attend team meetings representing the department in absence of the Compliance Director.
  • Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Arrives at work, appointments, meetings, and all work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
  • Assist SVP, General Counsel as requested.
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicates hazards and/or suggests improvements to manager.
  • Other duties as assigned
