About The Position

The Lead serves as a department resource to registration and financial counseling staff, leads by example and pursues goals under the direction of the Registration and/or Financial Counselor Supervisor. The Lead demonstrates outstanding registration and financial counseling skills. The Lead performs all tasks related to registration, preregistration, account auditing and financial counseling for inpatients and outpatients including securing and calculating upfront collections with co-pays, and co-insurance in an efficient, accurate and hospitable manner to ensure the patient, physician and hospital needs are met. The Lead “serves as a role model” within the department and throughout the organization, always displaying the “Patient First” vision in their performance, behavior and decision making. PIH Health is a nonprofit, regional healthcare network that serves approximately 3 million residents in the Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Gabriel Valley region.
