This role provides support in accordance with individualized service and behavior support plans for individuals with moderate to complex needs. The Lead RBT implements plans of protective oversight and Individual Behavior Support Plans (IBSPs)/Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) in a therapeutic environment. The position involves demonstrating professionalism and direct support skills with a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, including performing direct care responsibilities as needed. The Lead RBT also assists with day-to-day oversight of residence and direct support staff, ensuring tasks are performed in accordance with regulations and policies, conducting observations, and reporting/tracking client and staff issues. This role ensures staff engage individuals with positive interactions and promote person-centered activities. The Lead RBT assists with scheduling, completes shift reports, and conducts meetings with staff. They are responsible for ensuring new hires complete orientation and monitoring staff training completion. Daily documentation checks, including IPPs, IBSPs, MARs, staff notes, and communication logs, are required to ensure compliance. The Lead RBT ensures accurate e-billing and reviews documentation for completeness and quality. As Facility Manager on assigned shifts, responsibilities include conducting and documenting drills, performing physical plant checks, and submitting work orders for maintenance. They also review vehicle maintenance logs, provide driver certification and training, and manage financial ledgers for individuals. Incident reporting, including Special Incident Reports, and necessary notifications are also part of the role. Inventory of supplies and medications, and ensuring proper storage, are also required. The position requires compliance with all regulatory agency requirements, including HIPAA, and maintaining necessary trainings and certifications (RBT or LPT).
