This role provides support in accordance with individualized service and behavior support plans for individuals with moderate to complex needs. The Lead RBT/LPT implements plans of protective oversight and Individual Behavior Support Plans (IBSPs)/Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) in a therapeutic environment. The position involves demonstrating professionalism and direct care responsibilities of a DSP/RBT with a person-centered and trauma-informed approach. The Lead RBT/LPT will consult with program leadership, clinical staff, and external providers to ensure quality care and will assist the Program Administrator with daily oversight of the residence and direct support staff. This includes ensuring staff perform tasks according to regulations and policies, conducting observations, and addressing issues. The role also involves ensuring staff engage individuals with positive interactions and person-centered activities, assisting with scheduling, completing shift reports, and overseeing new hire orientation and training completion. Weekly shift meetings, daily documentation checks (including IPPs, IBSPs, MARs, staff notes, communication logs, and leisure activities), and ensuring electronic system uploads are also key responsibilities. The position ensures accuracy of e-billing and addresses issues for appropriate submissions. As Facility Manager, the Lead RBT/LPT conducts and documents drills, performs physical plant checks, and manages maintenance work orders. Vehicle maintenance logs are reviewed, and driver certification and training are provided. Incident reporting, including Special Incident Reports, and required notifications are completed. Financial ledgers, inventory of supplies, and medication management are also part of the role. Compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, and maintaining necessary certifications/licenses are essential.
