About The Position

Zero Homes' mission is to electrify the world’s homes for healthy and sustainable living. Residential electrification is an extraordinary decarbonization opportunity, as 145 million homes in the United States account for 20% of our climate emissions. However, electrification is currently a complex, time-consuming, and expensive process. Zero Homes is building a new experience for homeowners, contractors, and utilities, bridging the gap between the digital and physical worlds to make electrification fast, easy, and affordable. The company is seeking a high-horsepower Lead Recruiter to architect the team's growth, acting as the frontline representative of Zero Homes in the Denver ecosystem and the operational owner of the talent acquisition function. This role involves owning the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer acceptance, and serving as a Strategic Advisor to the CEO and Leadership team to transition from reactive hiring to a data-driven capacity model as the company scales to over 55 people.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (Internal experience in a high-growth startup is highly preferred).
  • Proven ability to source for diverse roles, from Software Engineers to Field Technicians and Project Managers.
  • High proficiency with modern ATS platforms (Ashby, Lever, or Greenhouse), G-Suite automation, and equity management tools (Carta).
  • High energy, relentless follow-through, and a 'Bar-Raiser' mentality.
  • Live within 40 miles of Denver, CO, and be ready to be a presence at the 31st St HQ and local community events.
  • Genuine interest in heat pumps, renewable energy, and decarbonization.

  • Internal experience in a high-growth startup is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for Technical (Software/Eng), General (Sales/Growth), and Ops (Field/Trade) roles.
  • Partner with Leadership to build and maintain internal compensation and equity bands using real-time Denver market data.
  • Represent Zero Homes at local career fairs, university events (Mines, CU, CSU), and trade schools, building a 'warm' talent pipeline.
  • Lead the strategy and execution for in-house meetups and networking mixers to attract local talent.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics: Pipeline Velocity, Offer Acceptance Rate, Referral %, and Time-to-Productivity.
  • Ensure every candidate has a strong impression of Zero Homes, whether hired or not.
