About The Position

This Full-Time Lead Receptionist position in Assisted Living provides professional and efficient clerical support to the facility, ensuring excellent internal and external customer service. The role is with Volunteers of America National Services, which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum one-year secretarial experience.
• Able to communicate, verbally and in writing, and work effectively with various levels of staff, residents, family members and the public.
• Proficient typing required.
• Dexterity required in the use of office equipment.
• Numerical ability necessary to perform arithmetic computations in maintaining general bookkeeping records.
• Ability to handle a variety of interruptions on a regular basis.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for designated clerical and receptionist duties.
• Receives incoming telephone calls, screens for correct transfer and connects with appropriate party.
• Greets and directs visitors; screens and directs salespersons as advised.
• Receives, sorts and forwards' incoming mail; receives and routes package deliveries.
• Opens and routes A/P and A/R mail.
• Processes outgoing facility mail.
• Serves as Personal Fund Custodian.
• Presents flyer with online application information to job applicants.
