About The Position

The Lead Receptionist assumes a leadership role within the reception team, overseeing the efficient operation of the front desk and reception area. With a focus on providing exemplary customer service and administrative support, the Lead Receptionist guides and mentors the receptionist staff while ensuring a seamless experience for visitors, residents, and staff. The position requires a strong leadership ability and a proactive approach to managing receptionist duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service and working within an office environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with residents and staff through both verbal and written means.
  • Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in multitasking, prioritization, and demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Comfortable with technology and proficient in various software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google, and others.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist, administrative or customer service role, with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certification in office administration or related field preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate incoming calls.
  • Greet visitors and residents warmly and direct them appropriately.
  • Lead and supervise reception staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide a welcoming and organized environment for residents and visitors.
  • Support Office Manager with required administrative tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments and reception staff to address visitors’ and residents’ needs efficiently, fostering positive relationships and effective communication.
