About The Position

To thrive as a Lead Receiving Operator, you must bring strong organizational skills, a safety-first approach, and the ability to understand material handling operations. You’ll oversee the receipt, transfer, and shipping of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. Your expertise with forklifts, reach trucks, and SAP transactions will keep inventory flowing efficiently while ensuring that materials are staged, stored, and documented accurately to support daily production. Every day, you will coordinate deliveries from trucks and railcars, monitor tank levels, and process inventory transactions to ensure production continues seamlessly. You’ll inspect incoming materials, replenish supplies, and respond to requests from sales, plants, and corporate offices - all while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. From training team members to participating in spill response, your impact will be felt across the plant as you ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to understand material handling operations
  • Forklift and reach truck experience is preferred, but candidates willing to train and acquire certification are accepted
  • Lifting products up to 75 lbs, several times throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate deliveries from trucks and railcars
  • Monitor tank levels
  • Process inventory transactions
  • Inspect incoming materials
  • Replenish supplies
  • Respond to requests from sales, plants, and corporate offices
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Train team members
  • Participate in spill response
  • Lead safe and efficient handling, storage, labeling, and documentation of yard materials under the solvent recovery program
  • Monitor and replenish MRO inventory items
  • Ensure raw materials such as labels, stickers, and box trays are stocked in adequate quantities

  • $0.50/hr increase at 6 months of employment
