About The Position

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js. The Lead React Developer designs, architects, and codes modules while leading 3 to 5 senior React developers. The role requires strong ownership of both the product and its delivery, along with collaboration, pragmatism, and low-ego communication. The lead should be comfortable speaking up and constructively pushing back on unrealistic expectations. The candidate should be able to discuss process improvements and team growth they have led, and provide examples of websites or applications they have built or significantly contributed to. A strong understanding of APIs and microservices architecture is required, as is a security-focused mindset encompassing clean coding practices, encryption, obfuscation, and related secure-development principles.

Requirements

Strong experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Experience leading 3 to 5 senior React developers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to speak up and constructively push back on unrealistic expectations.
Collaborative, pragmatic, and low-ego approach.
Strong understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.
Security-focused mindset, including clean coding practices, encryption, obfuscation, and related secure-development principles.

Nice To Haves

Full-stack experience, particularly with serverless and microservices architectures.
Azure experience; AWS or GCP experience is also valuable.
Experience with payments, security, and rapid prototyping.
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, including linting and quality-check stages.
Experience integrating AI capabilities.
