About The Position

Responsible for line service activities for a given area as assigned by the Ground Service Supervisor. When workload requires, acts as Ground Service Representative.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License and other FAA required identification/seals.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Able to continuously lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring Ground service activities as assigned by the Ground Service Supervisor, including coordination with Passenger Service Agents.
• Performing all essential duties of Ramp Agents such as loading and unloading of baggage, choking of aircraft, connecting electrical power units to aircraft, positioning passenger stairs to aircraft, replenishing water supply and servicing of lavatories.
• Providing air start and air-conditioning.
• Connecting tow bar and tug for push back or towing aircraft.
• Operating headset/radio to provide communication between ground crew and flight crew and tower.
• Cleaning ramp area and ground equipment.
• Checking in baggage as required.
• Assisting in scheduling of employees.
