Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
- Three years' experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the flow of radiography procedures between various departments and nursing units.
- Supervises, schedules and assigns staff.
- Reviews radiographs for diagnostic quality.
- Maintains Radiology/RIS and controls inventory.
- Operates radiography equipment to perform a variety of imaging procedures as indicated by protocol.
- Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs.
- Interviews, trains and evaluates radiology technical staff.
- Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient and physician needs.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
