About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Lead Radiologic Technologist to join the team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. This role will supervise the delivery of radiological services, recommend improvements, and participate in the development of training programs. The position may also involve performing radiologic procedures, including special procedures like CT, MRI, and Mammography, and participating in quality assurance activities, supply procurement, and research projects.

Requirements

• Valid license and current Radiologic Technologist registration issued by the NYSDOH.
• Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with lower Assignment Levels, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Assignment Level IV.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the delivery of radiological services, in accordance with established standards and procedures, for the service area or unit.
• Recommends changes and improvements relating to the delivery of radiological services.
• Participates in the development of training programs for radiographic personnel, ancillary personnel, and allied health care professionals.
• Demonstrates new or revised techniques, procedures, and equipment.
• May perform radiologic procedures, as required.
• Performs special procedures, including diagnostic and interventional radiography (e.g., CT, MRI, and Mammography).
• Participates in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control, and maintenance of technical equipment.
• Participates in and coordinates procurement and storage of supplies and makes recommendations regarding supply and equipment needs.
• Performs research and participates in special projects involving evaluation of equipment and delivery of service.
