Copley Hospital is seeking a Lead Radiologic Technologist to join their Diagnostic Imaging team in Morrisville/Stowe, VT. This role is responsible for overseeing daily radiographic operations across the hospital, clinics, and Operating Room, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The Lead Technologist provides technical expertise, leadership, and guidance to imaging staff, ensuring adherence to protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. They serve as the primary trainer and mentor for students, travelers, and new staff, ensuring proficiency and adherence to departmental standards. The position involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, assisting with workflow coordination, maintaining equipment, and supporting staff development. This role is crucial for coordinating Radiology's support of surgical cases while managing outpatient referrals, emergency add-ons, and inpatient needs. The Lead Technologist works closely with Operating Room staff to monitor schedules, communicate changes, and allocate resources for surgical cases. They also collaborate with the PACS administrator for technical issues and QA, and with the Director and Staff Scheduler for coverage. Additionally, this role assists the Radiology Manager/Director with operational planning and serves as a liaison between technologists, radiologists, and management to promote effective communication and patient care. The Lead Technologist may also perform duties in CAT scan, Mammography, MRI, or Ultrasound with advanced certification.
