About The Position

The Lead, Quality Records Auditor is responsible to the Manager Quality Assurance for auditing and review of all applicable documentation prior to aircraft delivery as detailed in the audit flow process. This role supports the Leader by managing the day-to-day tasks and assigns tasks/projects to other team members. The Lead interacts as a liaison (point of contact) with the customer on behalf of the Leader. The position verifies the completeness of the maintenance record package, ensuring each step is documented and all required signatures are present. The Lead also performs systematic audits of maintenance paperwork versus the data in the maintenance information system, ensuring completeness of all maintenance documentation and that all open and required fields have been properly annotated. This role is responsible for the audit flow process and supports in ensuring all documentation is ready and audited for filing and records scanning. All discrepancies noted during auditing are reported via EmpowerMX fleet cycle system. The Lead supports the Operations and Quality Control departments in identifying and properly correcting documentation errors. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or education degree (GED).
  • Typically has 2+ years of experience in Quality Records department and is seen as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the role.
  • Maintenance information systems knowledge desired (EmpowerMX Fleet Cycle).
  • Knowledge of Aircraft records requirements.
  • Ability to understand procedures, acting in problem solving, suggesting improvements.
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, excel, word) preferred
  • Aircraft Maintenance data collection experience preferred.
  • Good customer service skills desired.
  • Demonstrates good judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent in Aviation field (management, operations, maintenance) preferred.

Responsibilities
