About The Position

As a Lead Quality Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will help shape our unwavering commitment to quality excellence. Supporting a team of dedicated quality engineers, you will ensure that high-quality products are consistently delivered to our customers. You are responsible for conducting audits to identify opportunities for improvement, implement corrective and preventive actions, and guide the team with technical expertise. With a strong foundation in quality management systems and methodologies, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and measure quality standards and metrics, driving innovation and exceeding quality goals. Requirements

  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
  • 6+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, fostering a culture of quality and excellence across the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques to strengthen our data-driven quality initiatives.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, facilitating continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • The ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring our processes remain at the forefront of quality standards

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of quality engineers and technicians
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and efficiency
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver quality training programs
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to drive improvements
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in quality engineering
