About The Position

We’re working on one of the hardest problems in software: making AI systems reliable in the real world. This platform powers voice AI agents used by enterprise customers to handle real customer interactions at scale. Millions of conversations. High stakes. Zero tolerance for failure. We’re looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to define how quality works in an AI-native world — where traditional QA breaks down and new approaches are required. This isn’t about maintaining test cases. It’s about building the system that ensures AI actually works.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years in QA, SDET, or Quality Engineering
  • Strong background in automation and testing frameworks
  • Experience building tooling, infrastructure, or CI/CD quality systems
  • Hands-on with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
  • Actively using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) in your workflow
  • Strong technical foundation and ability to influence across teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing LLM, voice, or conversational AI systems
  • Background in customer-facing or delivery environments

Responsibilities

  • Define and scale quality across the entire platform
  • Build AI-driven testing and validation workflows
  • Move the org from manual QA → automated, AI-native quality engineering
  • Create standards for testing LLMs and conversational systems
  • Partner with Engineering & Product to build quality from day one
  • Turn real customer usage into better testing and faster iteration
  • Mentor and elevate a team of QA engineers
