We are responsible for the end-to-end Guest experience for all technology & digitally led initiatives across Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business, as well as AI-related innovation. This role sits in the Cast Tools & US Parks TechOps organization within US Parks & Resorts for Disney Experiences Technology. The Lead QA Engineer will report to the Quality Engineering Manager. Disney seeks forward-thinking technologists who are passionate about delivering quality products and enjoy working closely with developers and product owners on strategic and tactical challenges. The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work independently as a self-starter, utilize good time management skills, and be able to work with a diverse team of talented individuals. This Lead Quality Engineer position is responsible for ensuring our Products have a Test Strategy and the functional scope has adequate test coverage to meet Disney’s high standard of quality. This includes estimations, User Story analysis, test design, test execution, audits, and metrics validation. This also includes strong collaboration with Product & Development teams to ensure the Requirements & Acceptance Criteria are testable in a non-Production environment. The Lead will also evaluate and improve on standards, processes, and templates to optimize efficiency without sacrificing quality.
