About The Position

As related to customer equipment, facilities, or infrastructure projects, this role is responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of Power Conversion and Storage projects within the Industry segment, overseeing the entire project lifecycle - from Planning to Closure - covering Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Installation & Commissioning phases. This role requires full project ownership and accountability for financial performance, on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction. Acting as the primary customer interface and trusted partner, the Lead Project Manager leads cross-functional teams, assuring disciplined project governance, adherence to GE Vernova’s EHS, Quality, and Compliance standards, and a strong balance of strategic leadership and operational execution. Success in this position means delivering projects safely, on quality, on time, and on budget, while maintaining high levels of customer trust and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as Project Manager, leading mid to complex customer projects in the industrial / manufacturing section, preferably within Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Metals, Mining, or other related Industry field.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification (or equivalent project management credential).
  • Background in customer-facing roles, particularly in service delivery or project execution environments.
  • Previous experience working in the Oil and Gas or other Industry segments.
  • General technical understanding of power conversion systems, including automation and controls, and electrical power systems.
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliver on commitments.
  • Proven experience leading teams with project scope within Electrical & Automation systems.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems for project tracking and financial management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to engage effectively with customers, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for site visits, project execution, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Leading multiple mid to large-scale industry projects across all phases, from order entry through installation and commissioning.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and site activities across GE Vernova and subcontracted partners to meet contractual scope, cost, quality, and schedule commitments.
  • Acting as the primary customer interface, ensuring clear communication, fostering trust, and proactively managing expectations and relationships.
  • Driving cross-functional project teams with effective leadership, accountability, and collaborative engagement.
  • Managing and controlling daily project operations while adapting to changing customer and business needs.
  • Owning the financial performance of projects, including revenue, contribution margin, cost, cash collection, and compliance with regional business targets.
  • Leading regular project reviews, financial assessments, and progress updates with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Conduct Lessons learns and built best practices in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Preparing and delivering structured project communications, including kick-off meetings, status reports, customer reports, risk and opportunity assessments, and close-out documentation.
  • Proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving project risks and issues to safeguard customer satisfaction, ensure compliance, and support overall business results.
  • Lead process improvements within the Project Management team.
