About The Position

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead Project Engineer (A-MH) to join the A-MH Airframe Engineering Team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will be responsible for integration between various teams for a single commodity on Program A-MH with Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The selected candidate will be the single technical point of contact to the A-MH Air vehicle IPT and Boeing leadership for integration between Missions Systems, Build, Survivability and Airframe. The candidate will also maintain technical management of the project by preparing project plans and measuring progress. It is expected that daily communication and coordination with the A-MH Air Vehicle IPT is a part of the battle rhythm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with technical leads, other program product teams, suppliers, and Customer as appropriate to ensure project statement of work are executed on time
  • Identifies and maintains day-to-day oversight of cost, schedule, and performance metrics and reporting to leadership
  • Maintains working-level customer relationships on the effort
  • Manages and ensures deliverables are submitted on time
  • Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program
  • Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
  • Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
  • Provides technical, business and integration for the development and execution of projector team plan
