Lead Project Engineer
About The Position
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. KBR is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to function as the day-to-day engineering integrator, coordinating activities across engineering disciplines and managing interfaces with other PMC workstreams. This role will support schedule management, technical issue resolution, change management, and engineering communication processes while ensuring that engineering execution remains aligned with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of engineering or project engineering experience.
- Experience successfully coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams for capital projects in excess of $500M TIC.
- Strong understanding of design execution, project delivery, and change management.
- Experience supporting project planning and schedule management activities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated facilities.
- Prior experience within PMC or Owner’s Representative organizations for capital projects in excess of $1B TIC.
- Knowledge of project controls and risk management processes.
- Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities.
- PE license or PMP certification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines.

- Support schedule management, change control, and technical issue resolution.
- Facilitate engineering communications and project coordination activities.
- Monitor engineering execution to ensure alignment with project objectives.
