About The Position

This role involves leading and managing complex engineering projects from initiation to completion. The Lead Project Engineer will define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, and will own project scope and baseline change requests. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing project plans, leading RFI/RFP responses, coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring project progress, managing risks and issues, providing technical guidance, and preparing status reports.

Requirements

Experience in leading and managing complex engineering projects
Ability to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Proficiency in developing and implementing project plans (timelines, budgets, resource allocation)
Experience in leading RFI/RFP responses
Skilled in coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of Earned Value Management
Ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Capability to provide technical guidance and support
Strong presentation skills for project status reports

Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion

Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Lead RFI/RFP responses including ownership of financial estimates, SOW and spec compliance matrices, and technical volume
Coordinate and communicate with cross functional teams to ensure project success
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Earned Value Management
Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
