About The Position

The Lead Platform Strategist is the lead member of our London based team, partnering closely with the client success team, analytics team, and other specialists to drive measurable client outcomes on the platforms that Dandelion licenses. You will be the lead platform and activation expert within the team: supervising the other platform strategists and support resources, translating client objectives into platform strategies, enabling clients through training, and ensuring that campaigns are set up, measured, and optimized in line with best practices. This role offers visibility into the full scope of the digital media process across multiple clients and industries, rather than being limited to a narrow or repetitive set of tasks. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of team leadership fundamentals, of digital advertising, ad operations, and media buying, along with a proven track record of hands-on platform work and client training (virtual and in person). Familiarity with a variety of digital ad serving and buying platforms is essential to excel in this role.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands‑on experience with digital advertising technology platforms, especially: Google Marketing Platform (DV360, CM360, SA360), Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk, Yahoo Vistar
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and how ad serving/buying platforms intersect with analytics, tagging, and measurement.
  • Demonstrated experience building and optimizing campaigns and collaborating with analytics or data teams on reporting and insights.
  • Strong team leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to diagnose gaps, propose feasible solutions, and translate technical concepts for audiences ranging from hands-on practitioners to senior executives.
  • Candidates must have an existing Right to Work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing and delivering training (virtual and/or in‑person) on media platforms is a strong asset.
  • Diploma or degree in a related field is an asset, but equivalent practical experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead platform expert for the branch, partnering with account management and analytics to deliver against shared client goals.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for digital advertising product questions and troubleshooting, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues in a timely and transparent way.
  • Participate in regular meetings, coming prepared with platform insights, risks, and opportunities tied to client objectives.
  • Deliver an outstanding training experience to clients so they can become their organization’s subject matter experts on the platforms they license through Dandelion.
  • Design and run training plans and enablement sessions tailored to client maturity levels and roles (from practitioners to C‑suite).
  • Stay up to date on the latest features, policies, and trends for the platforms you support and proactively socialize relevant changes with clients and your team.
  • Translate business and media objectives into campaign structures, targeting approaches, and measurement frameworks across Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and other DSPs.
  • Partner with analytics and account teams to ensure correct tagging, tracking, and data flows, enabling accurate reporting and meaningful insights.
  • Review performance to identify optimizations and test ideas that align to client KPIs and the team’s success metrics.
  • Identify creative opportunities to achieve client performance and maturity objectives, not just short‑term delivery.
  • Implement the corporate scope of work definition for platform‑related projects and support associated billing processes.
  • Support internal sales and consulting teams with platform insights that inform proposals, roadmaps, and maturity plans.
  • Assist in case study and playbook development, creating benchmarks and repeatable approaches that can be used across teams.
  • Support RFP and pitch deck development as needed, especially where platform strategy and measurement are key differentiators.
  • Implement team‑level roles & responsibilities (RACSI) and process improvements to make collaboration more efficient and scalable.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as required in a growing, fast‑moving environment.

Benefits

  • Base compensation ranging from £48,000 - £59,000
  • Participation in our company profit-sharing program
  • Employee share ownership plan opportunities
