About The Position

The Naval Power Business Unit has an immediate opening for an ambitious finance professional to join our team as a Lead Program Controls Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work in a classified production environment, where all tasks are performed onsite. Our team is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, Estimate at Completions (EAC), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and ad hoc finance support to the program. Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module & Business Warehouse or similar system.
  • Experience in program cost schedule and control environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Development of quarterly EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
  • Oversee financials for multiple programs in a portfolio area; assist and provide guidance and mentoring to junior analyst(s).
  • Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management, and financial support.
  • Assist manpower planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.
  • Provide internal FP&A support for programs/portfolio; assist with forecasting, reporting and adhoc requests.
  • Support AOP/ Long Range Planning development
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
