About The Position

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Lead Production Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for the consistent production of high-quality products in a baking facility, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will be a team player with solid interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to quality, customer service, and regulatory compliance. This includes maintaining regular quality audits (AIB), good manufacturing practices, compliance with federal/state/local regulations (FDA, OSHA, Department of Agriculture, Department of Health, etc.), HACCP, meeting or exceeding Global Food Safety Standards (BRC), environmental compliance, and DOT mandates.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a fresh baked goods, bread and roll facility or in a process manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Leading pre-shift and lead meetings during scheduled shifts.
Promoting safety through coaching and training initiatives.
Keeping accurate production counts for all products.
Implementing Company initiatives such as manufacturing transformation, ODI record keeping, SOPs, etc.
Assuring QCPs are filled out accurately for all positions in production areas.
Training of all newly hired associates.
Giving breaks to associates on the line.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times according to 5S and general housekeeping standards.
Following all company Good Manufacturing Practices and regulations and assuring all associates are following GMPs as well.
Assuring all aspects of production are being conducted, and associates are performing tasks as required.
Performing all duties with little or no supervision.
Keying in daily production in ODI and Oracle.
