About The Position

Imperial Trading is hiring a Lead Production Associate to support warehouse order fulfillment and daily production activity at our Elmwood, Louisiana distribution facility. This is a hands-on lead role responsible for helping keep assigned warehouse areas moving, supporting employees during the shift, and making sure customer orders are picked, processed, verified, and prepared accurately. The right candidate will be comfortable working on the warehouse floor, communicating with supervisors and team members, reinforcing safe work practices, and stepping in to assist with the work when needed.

Sign-On Bonus: Eligible new hires may receive a $1500.00 sign-on bonus, subject to company policy and eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, production, order fulfillment, or similar environment.
• Ability to work a full-time morning or evening shift based on business needs.
• Ability to help lead work in assigned areas without direct employee reporting authority.
• Ability to follow and reinforce work procedures, safety expectations, and order processing standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members during the shift.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and verify production or order processing information.
• Ability to work in an on-site warehouse environment with moving equipment, conveyors, palletized products, production activity, and loud noise.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, handle materials, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks.
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to complete required equipment and warehouse process training after hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse lead, team lead, trainer, or senior warehouse associate experience.
• Experience with order selecting, picking, replenishment, palletizing, loading, auditing, or order verification.
• Experience helping train employees, support daily work assignments, or maintain warehouse production records.
• Experience in wholesale distribution, convenience store distribution, food distribution, or high-volume order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse order fulfillment activities, including picking, processing, replenishing, loading, palletizing, verification, auditing, and related production work.
• Help direct employees in assigned areas during the shift and reinforce company procedures, production expectations, and safe work practices.
• Assist with training, coaching, and motivating team members in assigned warehouse functions.
• Monitor order processing to help ensure products are handled, counted, secured, and prepared correctly.
• Maintain accurate production records, order documentation, line summaries, and other assigned warehouse paperwork.
• Communicate employee, process, production, safety, security, or equipment concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist in other warehouse areas when staffing levels, workload, or business needs require additional support.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including conveyors, equipment areas, and assigned production spaces.
