About The Position
The Lead, Global Product Supply Operations supports inline product commercialization by facilitating the delivery of profitable, on-time products in collaboration with cross-functional partners. This position works closely with product teams and serves as the primary liaison to regional sourcing teams to support commercialization activities within the assigned product category.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of related supply chain, sourcing, merchandising, textiles or apparel manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in SAP and Web based PLM systems a plus
Responsibilities
- Fully understand supply chain needs of category product teams. Clearly communicate style level details to the regional sourcing team to support allocation and costing.
- Work with SCO leaders to create category level supply chain strategies and communicate these to the regional sourcing teams
- Drive ownership of material and construction decisions related to cost within the product team
- Lead cross functional efforts to achieve category target margins
- Partner with materials, materials sourcing, and trims to deliver precosts to the product team
- Partner with regional sourcing, supply planning, and SMS teams to troubleshoot production related issues as needed
