About The Position

The Lead Product Manager, Technical serves as product lead for Humana’s Health Data Exchange (HDX) modernization initiatives. The role defines and drives product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, and execution to transform legacy healthcare transaction processing and integration capabilities into modern, cloud-native solutions. It partners with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to align technology investments with business priorities and deliver measurable value, including improved scalability, operational efficiency, and reduced complexity. The position balances business needs, technical considerations, and long-term modernization goals while driving alignment across stakeholders and delivery teams. This is a hybrid position based in Louisville, Kentucky, or Nashville, Tennessee. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of one of these locations and be able to work onsite as required. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of enterprise experience in product management, business analysis, technology delivery, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in application development.
Experience managing priorities, requirements, or product backlogs.
Working knowledge of .NET/C#, SQL Server, REST APIs, API gateways, service and integration patterns, and data dependencies.
Understanding of on-premises and cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, service decoupling, and legacy application modernization.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.
