About The Position

Realtor.com® is seeking a Lead Product Manager to build and scale a first-of-its-kind partner platform and data ingestion ecosystem. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own the strategy and execution, bridging executive vision with engineering reality. The role involves building a partner-facing platform to drive transaction volume and engineering backend infrastructure for capturing, structuring, and enriching spatial and media assets at scale. The data will be used for AI model training and to unlock new enterprise revenue streams. This position requires broad expertise in product management, data engineering, commercial strategy, and cross-functional leadership, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes impacting the broader organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 8+ years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5+ years in product management.
  • Track record of delivering complex B2B/B2C marketplaces, API platforms, or enterprise data ingestion systems from early build through scale.
  • Broad expertise across product strategy, data engineering, commercial operations, and legal/compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to lead across multiple disciplines without constant oversight.
  • Strong technical fluency, comfortable with data pipelines, API design, and metadata schemas.
  • Proven ability to evaluate complex situations with ambiguity, including commercial contracts, partner dynamics, and build vs. buy decisions, and exercise independent judgment.
  • Clear, persuasive communicator adaptable to technical teams, legal counsel, finance leadership, and C-suite audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with machine learning workflows, computer vision, or 3D/spatial data, especially around model training pipelines or large-scale media/image processing for AI applications.
  • Proven ability as a formal network builder with lasting cross-functional working relationships.
  • Background in prop-tech, real estate technology, digital media licensing, or two-sided marketplace infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle and roadmap for the partner ecosystem and data pipeline, translating business goals into a sequenced build plan.
  • Write PRDs, run sprint planning, and collaborate closely with engineering to identify and resolve issues.
  • Define product requirements for core ingestion channels including bulk upload APIs, automated system syncs, and batch pipelines to ensure a secure chain of custody for all assets.
  • Own the rights-tagging infrastructure to manage legal clearance for AI training and derivative content creation.
  • Establish a consistent metadata taxonomy, including asset classification, attribute tagging, and geolocation, ensuring all incoming assets are structured and rights-cleared.
  • Design partner discovery and ranking logic to incentivize higher-quality capture formats and manage ecosystem incentives.
  • Collaborate with Legal to translate vendor onboarding and contract terms into platform guardrails.
  • Work with Finance and Ops to scale the payment architecture and commercial pipelines.
  • Support the building of infrastructure for enterprise licensing and potential M&A as the asset library matures.
  • Build the scaffolding to aggregate, structure, and package data for high-margin enterprise use cases, ensuring platform readiness for future business opportunities.
