About The Position

Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a Lead Product Manager with deep expertise in modern AI/ML to own product strategy for key AI/ML feature areas. This role involves working closely with engineering and research to develop AI-native products, moving beyond traditional enterprise PM roles. The ideal candidate will have experience building products where AI is central, not just a feature, and will apply this perspective to create next-generation intelligent and agentic capabilities using ThousandEyes' extensive network telemetry data.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product management, with experience shipping AI-native or ML-powered products.
  • Strong product fundamentals, including discovery, prioritization, and execution.
  • Genuine technical depth in ML, including understanding of modern models (especially transformers) and ability to discuss architecture and trade-offs with engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics for various audiences and influence across teams.
  • A bias for action and comfort operating with ambiguity, making decisions without perfect information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at companies building agentic AI products (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Replit, Cognition).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the connective tissue between product and ML, translating customer problems into technical possibilities and vice versa.
  • Engage deeply with the technology, understanding model behavior, predictions, and trade-offs.
  • Redesign user experiences to integrate intelligent automation as the default.
  • Make critical decisions on product development in ambiguous situations, determining when a feature is ready for release.
  • Facilitate the transition of promising research experiments into reliable, scalable production features.
