About The Position

As a Senior/Lead Product Designer on the Design Systems team at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our AI-first design system across our suite of products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure consistency, usability, accessibility, and delightful user experiences across Salesforce applications. You’ll get to work on a world-class team with some of the brightest minds in the industry and will have fun while doing it!

Requirements

• You’re a systems designer who is and knowledgeable in leveraging and training AI to create quality experiences
• You’re equally comfortable in code and figma, you consider yourself more than just a designer, but also a design engineer
• You have expert visual design skills, and obsess over the details of any design
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on design systems and UX/UI design
• A portfolio demonstrating a strong foundation in design systems, visual design, interaction design, and AI patterns/capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and maintenance of our next-gen design system, tools, and AI products that scale across Salesforce
• Contribute quality knowledge to the design system that is readable by both humans and machines
• Define and document design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure cohesive experiences
• Evolve the visual language & ease of use of Salesforce UI/UX
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, writers, and engineers to integrate the design system into product development workflows
• Partner with UX researchers to validate design decisions through user testing and feedback loops
• Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and collaboration
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity within the design system to ensure all users have a seamless experience
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design systems
