About The Position

Epic Games is seeking a Lead Producer to help build several initiatives as part of our collaboration with Disney. In this role, you will serve as a key production leader responsible for driving development across internal teams, external partners, and co-development studios. You'll bring structure and momentum to a complex, high-visibility project by managing relationships, aligning priorities, and clearing the path for creative and technical teams to do their best work. The ideal candidate is a seasoned production leader who thrives in dynamic environments, brings a builder's mentality to ambiguous challenges, and has a track record of shipping high-quality experiences through diverse team structures. You are the kind of person who sets the tone for a project by enabling the people around you and driving the work forward with clarity and conviction.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a production leadership role on AAA game development, with a track record of shipping high-quality titles
  • Demonstrated experience managing co-development relationships with external studios, including both maintaining existing engagements and building new partnerships
  • Experience working with IP holders and external partners, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships across business, product, and creative teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation; comfortable operating in ambiguity, building process where little exists, and adapting quickly to keep development moving forward
  • Proven ability to lead and develop other producers, fostering growth and maintaining high standards across the team
  • Experience leading production across teams distributed across multiple time zones
  • Expert communication and organizational skills; someone who leads with transparency, builds trust quickly, and brings calm to high-pressure situations
  • Deep understanding of dependency-driven pipelines, scheduling, asset tracking, and project management practices and tools
  • Experience in game development incubation and pre-production

  • Manage relationships with external IP holders and partner organizations, establishing processes and workflows that align business, product, and development teams around shared goals
  • Oversee co-development engagements with external studios, managing established partnerships while also identifying, onboarding, and building new co-dev relationships from the ground up
  • Own the project's planning and health end to end, from requirements gathering and dependency mapping to risk identification and mitigation, keeping senior leadership informed and the work moving forward no matter how circumstances evolve
