About The Position

A Lead Procurement Specialist at LogicMonitor is responsible for executing strategic sourcing initiatives, supporting procurement operations, and contributing to the advancement of scalable, AI enabled procurement processes. This role partners closely with Finance leadership to operationalize procurement strategy, improve efficiency, and strengthen contract governance. The position plays a key role in enhancing procurement workflows and supporting automation efforts, ensuring the function can effectively scale with business needs. Here's a closer look at this key role: Strategic Sourcing Execution Execute sourcing strategies across key spend categories including SaaS, Marketing, and Consulting/Contractors Support contract negotiations and vendor selection processes in partnership with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with established procurement strategy Provide recommendations and insights to support category planning and decision-making AI & Procurement Process Enablement Support the implementation and adoption of AI-enabled procurement capabilities, including Zip automation and contract review tools Identify opportunities to improve procurement workflows by reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency Partner with leadership to test, refine, and operationalize new tools and process enhancements Leverage data and system insights to support continuous improvement initiatives Procurement Operations & Workflow Optimization Manage procure-to-pay workflows within Zip, including intake, approval routing, and contract processing Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement responsiveness and reduce cycle times Ensure consistent execution of procurement processes and adherence to defined standards Collaborate with stakeholders to improve intake processes and reduce inefficiencies Vendor Management & Governance Support vendor lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance tracking, and renewal coordination Assist in managing contract renewals to ensure timely review and alignment with business needs Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, and contract governance standards Partner with Finance and FP&A to support spend tracking, reporting, and budget alignment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a related field is required, with experience supporting sourcing initiatives and procurement operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute procurement processes, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to process improvements in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with procure-to-pay platforms such as Zip, Coupa, or similar systems
  • Strong contract negotiation support and vendor management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in spend analysis
  • Ability to support implementation of automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing practices, and contract lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with SaaS procurement and vendor management practices
  • Understanding of procurement controls, approval workflows, and compliance requirements
  • Awareness of automation and AI applications in procurement

Responsibilities
