About The Position

Cresco Labs is a leading vertically integrated cannabis company with a mission to normalize and professionalize cannabis. We are seeking a Lead Processing Agent to join our team, responsible for processing harvest materials in an operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies. This role requires demonstrated experience in cannabis processing or a similar manufacturing environment, with a focus on regulatory compliance, product consistency, and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cannabis processing or a related role within the cannabis industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures.
  • Ability to measure, package and label in a precise manner.
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

  • Experience in training, leading and/or mentoring staff or new hires preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and maintain data related to production, inventory, and compliance using METRC.
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot machine trimming equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure all processing activities comply with state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies. Conduct regular audits and report any discrepancies.
  • Act as a mentor to new and existing staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and confidence. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Conduct product inspections and collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues.
  • Regularly check and maintain optimal environmental conditions in the dry room, including temperature, humidity, and air circulation to ensure proper drying of harvested cannabis.
  • Monitor and evaluate the productivity of processing staff through observation and data analysis.
  • Ensure all processing activities adhere to GMP standards, including wearing appropriate PPE, cleanliness, organization, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a sanitary work environment and maintaining cleaning logs for all processing workstations.
