This position allows for a hybrid arrangement with a mix of work from home and in the office. This is an opportunity for an experienced chemical engineer to contribute to challenging and meaningful work in support of government clients. The role is ideal for a senior professional who brings strong technical judgment, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to lead engineering assignments while working closely with multidisciplinary teams. Perform chemical and process engineering evaluations, calculations, studies, and design support for government and DOE-related projects under an NQA-1 quality assurance program. Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, engineering documents, and other design deliverables. Support process systems, waste handling systems, material selection, corrosion evaluations, hazardous area classifications, system reliability analysis, risk management analyses and related plant or facility engineering efforts as project needs require. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and client representatives to define scope, resolve technical issues, and support successful project execution. Provide technical leadership, mentor less experienced staff, and contribute to high-quality project delivery. Support proposal development, scope definition, estimating, and schedule input as needed.
