About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI Infrastructure builds high-performance GPU platforms for AI, machine learning, and HPC workloads, enabling customers to scale from tens to thousands of GPUs. The team develops core systems for GPU delivery, health monitoring, testing, triage automation, and diagnostics across large distributed environments using technologies such as RoCE and InfiniBand. As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, you will own software design and development for major OCI components. The role is part of the Compute AI Infrastructure In-Band Engineering team, which provides infrastructure for automated testing of new AMD, Intel, Arm, and Nvidia platform shapes, hardware bring-up, configuration, benchmarking, and debugging. Its services connect bare-metal hardware with full-stack orchestration frameworks and interact with OCI APIs and services, NICs, SmartNICs, ILOMs, and GPUs. You will build scalable, high-performance services and tools to launch, configure, test, and validate server platforms across OCI’s Compute and GPU fleet. You will collaborate with teams across Compute, Networking, Security, Data Center Engineering, and Hardware Development to launch, scale, and maintain server platforms with high reliability and low operational overhead. The role calls for a lead developer and problem solver with distributed systems and/or Linux systems expertise, who can work across the stack and design broad distributed-system interactions. Oracle describes the workplace as dynamic and flexible, collaborative, and supportive of learning and career growth.
