About The Position
The Goddard School in Macedonia is seeking an energetic, nurturing, and passionate individual to join their team as an early educational leader. This full-time position (40 hours/week) involves being a co-lead teacher in a classroom for children aged 1-3 years in a preschool setting. The school is committed to providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment that fosters professional growth.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree)
- Current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching credential
- Currently enrolled in a CDA or degreed program
- Knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree) is preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes.
- Planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities in a safe environment.
- Working directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
- Observing children's interests and collaborating with other teachers to develop creative curriculum ideas.
- Communicating with parents daily about their children's progress and achievements.
- Engaging with other child care professionals for professional growth.
