About The Position

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher who enjoys creating meaningful moments, building strong relationships, and helping young learners thrive. The center has been helping children build confidence, friendships, and a love of learning in a caring, family-centered environment for over 40 years. This role involves inspiring young children through play and discovery, creating a positive and engaging classroom, helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically, building relationships with families, and working alongside supportive teammates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood coursework is a plus
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Successful completion of a background check
