About The Position

Primrose School of Lone Tree is seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to join their team. This role involves creating a fun and safe environment with a daily schedule designed to build children's confidence and independence. Teachers will guide children from infancy through preschool age in small group instruction, supporting their growth as they learn new content and complex concepts. The school offers training and support, and virtual interviews are available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

Must meet basic requirements of Colorado Shines
PDIS Level 2+, CDA, AS or BS Degree in ECE, education, or equivalent
Previous experience as a teacher in licensed early childhood education, PreK, preschool, childcare, daycare center, or education preferred
Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.
Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Lone Tree, and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children in daycare or childcare center.
