Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Must meet Pennsylvania state licensing requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required for child care duties.

Nice To Haves

  • CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool preferred.
  • Loves working with young children.
  • Is dependable, positive, and a team player.
  • Communicates professionally with families and coworkers.
  • Enjoys creating fun, engaging learning experiences.
  • Is eager to continue learning and growing professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum.
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families.
  • Observe and document children's growth and development.
  • Guide children's social-emotional development using positive behavior strategies.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe classroom while following all licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to create the best possible experience for every child.
