About The Position

The Goddard School® of Chester Springs is hiring a Lead Pre-K Teacher who brings both a strong educational background and a genuine passion for working with young children. Requirements

• Five years of verified experience in childcare centers or education
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Education or Early Childhood Education
• Completion of state-required pre-service training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong understanding of child development
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members
• Experience creating and implementing daily lesson plans
• Strong positive classroom management skills
• A nurturing approach that supports play-based learning
• Comfortable collaborating with Assistant Teachers
• Excited to learn and grow with a strong team
• Passionate about high-quality education for young children

Nice To Haves

• Level 1 certification prefered

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum
• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
• Create a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment
• Build strong relationships with families through clear communication
• Support children’s social-emotional growth using positive guidance
• Observe and document development to guide instruction
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and leadership
• Maintain health, safety, and licensing standards at all times
