In this role you will perform routine and complex polysomnographic procedures including setup, monitoring, data acquisition, and scoring. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction during overnight sleep studies. You will review patient histories and confirm appropriate test selection and protocols. You will accurately score sleep studies in accordance with AASM guidelines. You will troubleshoot and resolve equipment and signal issues in real-time. You will provide day-to-day supervision and support for technologists and technicians. You will schedule staff coverage to ensure adequate lab operations across all shifts. You will serve as a mentor and resource for staff, leading training and onboarding for new hires. You will conduct performance feedback and assist with competency assessments. You will ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and infection control procedures. You will monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of sleep study data. You will assist in maintaining accreditation standards (e.g., AASM or Joint Commission). You will collaborate with sleep physicians and medical director on protocol updates and clinical workflow improvements. You will coordinate maintenance and calibration of equipment and report technical issues promptly. You will participate in audits, data collection, and quality improvement initiatives.
