At BHP, we believe our purpose goes beyond mining: we work to improve lives and create a more sustainable future. We are a global resources company with operations in more than 90 locations worldwide. In Canada, our presence is growing with the development of one of the most significant potash projects in the world; Jansen. This project reflects our long-term commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and economic growth. The Jansen Potash Project, located about 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is set to become one of the largest and most sustainable potash mines on the planet. With a CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment, it marks the biggest private investment in Saskatchewan’s history, and a bold step forward for BHP in Canada. During construction, it will create around 5,500 jobs, and once in operation, 900 permanent roles. As Lead PMO in Technology, you will play a critical role in shaping how a portfolio of technology projects is governed, monitored, and optimized across the Potash portfolio. Leading a team focused on portfolio oversight and performance, you will set program-wide strategies that drive standardization, replication, and continuity, while enabling value creation and preservation across the business. This role requires strong strategic judgment, a deep understanding of portfolio and project performance, and the ability to coach and empower teams to deliver high performance outcomes—safely, efficiently, and in alignment with BHP’s objectives.
