About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in CIO Digital Innovation as a part of technology. In this role, you will lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. You will act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. You will design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. You will review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. You will make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. You will collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. You will lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.

Requirements

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
5+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
3+ years of Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application platforms.
3+ years of experience implementing and supporting event-driven architectures using Kafka and/or IBM MQ.
3+ years of experience working with API gateways and enterprise integration patterns.
3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
3+ years of experience using Git-based source control and collaborative development practices.
3+ years of experience working with relational databases, SQL development, and data modeling.
5+ years of experience applying software engineering best practices, secure coding principles, and modern application design patterns.
1+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
2+ years of experience leading technical design, solution architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing applications and automation solutions using Python.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Experience with public and hybrid cloud platforms.
