About The Position
Under general supervision, coordinates and conducts daily plant operations in order to improve production, maintain costs, and ensure safety. This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited)
- Four (4) or more years previous plant experience (in addition to education requirements)
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and conducts daily plant operations and maintains inventory for safety and operation supplies.
- Conducts daily production activities; enters finished goods into inventory; orders supplies as needed.
- May assist with the coordination of workflow and assignments.
- Investigates, reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Creates and submits weekly and month end reports as requested.
- May provide support and direction to less experienced plant employees.
