Requirements
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
Responsibilities
- Assist in order entry tasks and medication dispensing processes.
- Enter in orders.
- Work alongside the pharmacist to ensure accuracy.
- Provide best in customer service.
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
- Entering new and refilling orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Preparing backup pharmacy orders.
- Complying with a process that addresses all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling.
