About The Position

The Observation Lead is responsible for providing shift leadership to the observation team. The duties listed are intended to describe the essential functions of the position. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six-months as a VSO preferred.
• Technical proficiency of computer software applications.
• Extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, mentoring, and serves as a resource to the Virtual Safety Observer (VSO) Team.
• Facilitate and coordinate staffing during shift to include all breaks.
• Determine patient assignments based on acuity and skill mix and adjust as needed throughout the shift.
• Receive VSO notifications confirming completion of the audiovisual check for initiation of Continuous Virtual Monitoring (CVM) and notification of CVM discontinuation by the Registered Nurse.
• Assume VSO responsibilities during periods of need.
