About The Position

Albuquerque Bible Church ( http://albuquerquebiblechurch.com) is searching for a full -time Lead Pastor.

Requirements

• Must have a good reputation among church members (beyond reproach)
• A Faithful husband (not a womanizer)
• Is known to use wise judgement (church & home)
• Shows graciousness to others & is welcoming to church visitors
• Able to teach expository & topical lessons (preferred)
• Shuns alcohol, tobacco, and drugs
• Acts as a peacemaker
• Is not a lover of money
• Is a godly family leader that has the respect of his wife & children
• Has a proven leadership track record in his community with at least 5 years leadership experience in a Christian organization or 3 years experience as a Pastor in an evangelical church
• Must be an ordained minister from a reputable organization or church
• The Pastor must be of like -minded beliefs and must agree to abide within the Constitution and By Laws of the Albuquerque Bible Church.
• Albuquerque Bible Church is a non -denominational, non -charismatic, traditional Bible -believing fellowship located in the north Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
• To honor and glorify God by obeying Jesus' command to make disciples of all people groups. We accomplish this through our Mission and Core Values.
• Reaching our community and beyond with the good news that Jesus saves (Luke 15, 19:10)
• Teaching believers through the Bible how to love God and love their neighbors as themselves (Col. 1:28; Matthew 22:37 -40)
• Sending those believers back out into the world to share with others the story of how Jesus saved them (Rom. 10:13 -15; Acts 1:8)
• The Bible: authoritative, inerrant, our standard for truth and obedience
• Christ -Centered Living: loving the Lord God with our whole hearts
• Dependency on God: for every area of our lives
• Prayer: individual and corporate prayer as crucial in doing God's work
• Equipping Believers for a passion -driven, gift -based ministry
• Missions: taking Christ to the nations by giving and praying
• Loving Relationships: acceptance, caring for others, forgiving
• Traditional Worship: giving praise and worship to our Lord and Savior by singing songs in our hymn book along with our talented pianist and worship team
• Bible Study: for spiritual growth and relationship building
• Strengthening Families: through our children's ministries and adult church services
