About The Position

The Lead Parking Attendant leads the Parking cashier staff. This position is responsible for parking lot setups that are required for each event. The Lead Parking Attendant's responsibilities include but are not limited to; setting out proper signage and equipment necessary for efficient flow, cleanliness of the parking lots and areas surrounding, monitoring lot capacity and optimizing for efficiency throughout the night, assisting cashier attendants with issues about guest concerns, guest issues associated with their parking experience and the proper maintenance and cleaning of equipment used in parking lot at the end of a shift.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead others to perform at a high level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Availability to work the egress for the majority of events.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including overnight evening, afternoon, morning, and early morning and occasional extended hours. (all with advance notice)
  • Availability to work any of 365 days each year including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to operate, transport, and manipulate certain equipment up to 20 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 20 lbs with or without accommodation.
  • Physically navigate stairs, parking lots and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs multiple times or walk long distances in a shift.
  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time inside and outside.
  • This position is not eligible for U.S. work authorization sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency as a Lead employee, leading by example.
  • Personal mobility and endurance are necessary for physical labor tasks involving movement and setup of large equipment.
  • Establish and enforce strict procedures consistent with Parking protocols.
  • Set up signage and corresponding equipment for the event and remove as necessary.
  • Monitor lot capacity and optimize for efficiency as needed.
  • Assist Parking Attendants with issues pertaining to guest concerns, ticket issues, parking issues, or parking lot issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of lot entrances and surrounding areas, including the interior of the lot
  • Inspect Parking Lots for guest and vehicle safety and report any concerns to supervisors.
  • Patrol parking lots to ensure there are no risks to guests or their vehicles.
  • Assist Parking Attendants with safety concerns when they arise.
  • Report any major risks or concerns to Parking Supervisors
